This is a popular product for customers who want ready-to-hang wall art without the expense of a gallery wrap. Your image or storyboard is mounted to a lightweight 3/4″ rigid board, and the edges can be trimmed in either black or white plastic. Standouts feature hanging holes in the back and arrive ready to hang! The image is coated with a special water-based lustre coating to protect the print.

This family’s session had already been rescheduled once due to bad weather, so when their new date called for more rain, we squeezed in a session at short notice this past week. The kids were great, both following my suggestions and adding their own personality flair to each pose. Forty-five minutes, and many dirty feet later, here’s what the camera captured:
This family’s session was my first client session during “golden hour,” that hour or two right before sunset where the sun is low on the horizon and the light it casts is deliciously warm and yummy. My family sessions usually get a little (or a lot) rambunctious — after all, aren’t kids rambunctious? But this family session was so calm and happy — a perfect fit for the time of day. We walked a little, ran a little, looked for frog eggs, found wooden bridges and climbed on old logs.
