Month: October, 2010
This family session was bittersweet for me. While it was a fun little mini-session for friends of mine, it was also my last session before I take a few months off for my own maternity leave.
When I left the session, I was *hoping* I had enough shots of little Mr. N to proof; it turns out I got some great shots of him in action! Like most little boys, he adores rocks and sticks. The secret to getting him to look at the camera? Hold a stick above my head and ask him to try to take it from me.
His little sister was happy to prance about and play with the grass and some small pebbles. She turned out to be quite the explorer, too. Like brother, like sister.
I was excited when this particular mom came to me with several prop and pose ideas for her family session. Aren’t these huge balloons she found incredible? The kids did great with the balloons and no one flew away, although the wind did tease us a few times. This family was fun, flexible, adorable and fun. Did I mention fun?
This family session was one of my favorites, I think. The light and color were incredible; but the mosquitos we could have done without.
I love that ‘G’ brought his fishing pole, and that he let me do some creative shots. I love sunflare!
