We spend so much of our lives waiting: in line, at street lights, for phone calls. But waiting for a baby is the hardest wait of all. It’s a kind of waiting that involves a tremendous amount of work, a lot of pain and good deal of surprises, but there is no better reward for the wait than holding your newborn in your arms.
This little one kept us all waiting for a long time, but when she decided she was ready to arrive, she made quite the entrance. Complete and perfect in every way.
And now they are four: mom, dad, son, daughter.
Congratulations, Catherine and Ryan! It was an honor to document your daughter’s arrival.

Beautiful work Jackie. Birth photography definitely suits you!
Amazing Jackie!! I don't know that I've ever seen your birth images. I adore them! What a special moment to be able to capture! I love the image where you're looking down above Catharine and you see Annika!! The others are all beautiful as well! Great work!
oh… so special. Thank you for all the waiting and capturing this moment for our family and especially for Annika!
so happy for Catherine! She took my maternity photos when I was pregnant with William.
